Winner notification and backups
Winners will be contacted by email at the address provided during registration. Winners have 48 hours after their notification email to respond and claim the prize.
For each random-draw prize, the winner and 2 ordered backup options are drawn at the same time. If the winner does not respond within 48 hours, the prize is offered to the first backup, then the second if needed. Each backup has 48 hours from their own notification email to respond.
Registration and privacy
No purchase necessary. Registration collects your name, email, optional Instagram handle, and separate acknowledgements. Marketing consent is optional and unchecked. Records are private and used for campaign administration unless you opt into updates.
One registration per email. Save your receipt. Crestie King reviews eligibility before awarding prizes.
Name That Gecko: how to participate
Posts launch September 13, 14 and 15. Suggestions and likes close September 30, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time.
- Suggest a name in the comments on the gecko’s designated Instagram or Facebook post. Each person may submit a maximum of three name suggestions per gecko.
- Like your favorite name suggestions on that post.
- See the top five recorded naming comments for each gecko, with the submitter, like count and posting time. Check the update timestamp for the latest snapshot.
All suggestions and likes stay on Instagram and Facebook. There is no second voting round and no website name-submission form. Standings are updates, not winner announcements.
If the same name is submitted more than once, credit goes to the earliest submission across Instagram and Facebook. Posted on timestamps help establish submission order.
Each verified winning name earns a $100 Crestie King credit: three contests, three prizes. No purchase necessary. Open to United States residents age 18 or older.
Register once for the celebration by September 27. The naming suggestion and like cutoff is September 30. Winners are contacted at their registration email and have 48 hours from notification to respond.
Main Celebration prizes
Eight winners receive a total of $2,500 in Crestie King credits.
- First Place: one $1,000 credit.
- Second Place: one $500 credit.
- Third Place: one $500 credit.
- Five additional winners: one $100 credit each.
Prize credits are not cash. Eligible animal profiles and availability are pending.
Other celebration prizes
- Dalmatian Celebration: one $500 credit.
- Customer Highlights: a $500 random drawing and a separate $100 favorite-story award.
- Three naming contests: a $100 credit for each winning name.
- 25K milestone unlock: two additional $500 credits if the milestone is reached.
Prize redemption
Credits apply toward eligible Crestie King animals and cannot be redeemed for cash. Shipping, taxes and any balance above the credit are the winner’s responsibility. First, Second and Third Place select in placement order, subject to availability.
